Update January 22, 2012
For those employees having a license expiring June 30, 2012, see your building administrator for your license renewal packet. Employees must sign for the packet. Please read the directions; the directions are broken down into sections. All applicants should read the front page up to the section "Eight-Year Renewals" and the back page, beginning with the sections "Completed Forms." THEN, each applicant should read and follow the directions in the section (Eight-Year Renewals which includes 5-year renewals, Advancing from a 2-year to a 5-year license, Two-Year Provisional Renewal, Temporary Renewals, or Supplemental License Renewals) that specifically pertains to you.
NOTE: The IPDP and Course Suggestion forms are the only ones available for use online at this time. DO NOT USE OTHER ONLINE FORMS because they are works-in-progress.
If you currently hold a 5-year Professional Educator License and do not have an approved IPDP, click on Create a Plan, follow the prompts, and then click submit. An approved IPDP must be on file with the LPDC prior to earning credit towards the renewal of a 5-year license or the transition of an 8-year certificate to a 5-year license.
Submission deadlines for the remainder of this school year are February 17, March 16, April 13, May 11, and June 8.
Credential information on your homepage and in your credential section is updated as the Personnel Department has time to do so.
